I am looking forward to another great fishing season this coming year.  I didn't get out in the boat much this past fall.  When the weather was nice, I had other things going on, and when I made time for the boat, the weather was snotty.  Isn't that the way it always goes.  We did manage to put a nice 22# bass in the boat Thanksgiving weekend.  We worked hard for that fish.

I am hoping the spring bass run is as good as it was last year.  I am going to put the boat in the water around May 15th this year.  We are still in a holding pattern as far as fishing regulations.  The salt water license is still in the works and different fluke and sea bass regulations are being proposed.  We are at the mercey of the politicians so be very careful of who you vote for and keep and eye on them while they are in office.  The politicians change their minds faster than a marlin that's hooked on the line.
