Saturday 7/24 & Sunday 7/25I to had reschedule my charters again for this weekend due to poor weather. Although we did not get the heavy
rain on the island that was forcast the wind blew a steady 20mph out of the north east and the seas were an easy 4-6ft on
the ocean. It felt like October! Not good fishing conditions to say the least. This Thursday, Friday &
Saturday I will be captaining the Reel Style again in the Beach Haven Marlin & Tuna Club White
Marlin Invitational. Last year we got 3rd place for blue marlin and had a fine yellowfin tuna catch.

Thursday, July 22, 2003 I had the Quinn Family out today for their annual family charter fishing trip. The weather was perfect. We had a nice drift with very calm seas. The water was a clear gulf stream
blue only a few miles offshore in the reef sites. It felt like we were in the Bahama Islands. The fishing could
have been a little more productive but everyone on board had a great time and managed to put enough fish in the box for dinner.

I captained the Reel Style, a 32 ft Blackfin out of Beach Haven, for an offshore tournament on Saturday.
We fished the canyons (70 miles offshore in the gulfstream) and did very well. The weather was great and the seas were
calm. After we boated the fifth tuna, the crew decided we had enough fish for the table so by one O'clock we picked
up the lines and headed home.
Sunday's charter was rescheduled to next week due to poor weather. The bottom fishing is picking
up in conjuction with the warmer water conditions. This latest north east storm should mix some of that cold bottom
water with the warmer surface water. It will only improve from here on out.
